My next project is to create an inventory database with the ability to check poarts out for a project.

I have hundreds of thousands of electronic components and keeping track of them is a difficult task.

I have racks on the walls and bins.  The trouble is keeping track of which project I purchased the components for.  Of which components I have in inventory so I don't purchase more.

So I have a bar code reader, and a bar code label printer and I growing database.  I just have to put it together.
