I have a routing I use to prepare a new blank PCB for processing.

I need to drill alignment holes for positioning the board on the table, mounting holes for the plating process and some reference holes to check zero alignment during the process.

See the video below for the process.

Printing negative and positive stencils Print

The best program I could find for printing gerbers to stencils to use for resist and masks is ViewMate 11.0.71. You can down load it free from http://www.pentalogix.com/. Almost all of the other programs I tried, GerbView, GCPrevue, CAM350, CircuitCam, CooperCam and Gerv either won’t permit moving the gerbers are for printing on one page or they print with the black areas as a hatch which won’t work for our application. (Note: Save is disabled on the free version of ViewMate. But once you print the negatives you need you don’t need to save the job.)

Dry Film Lamination Print

This process used to laminate film to the PCB board is the same for both photo resist and solder mask.  This process is referred to as dry film lamination.

The key result of this process is to apply whichever laminate you're using, to the PC Board, without wrinkles or other defects.  It can be accomplished easily with just a little practice.
