I built my own wet lab area out of a bathroom closet in the basement.

I couldn't find a sink to fit, so I make one out of plywood covered in several laters of fiberglass, then top coated like the hull of a boat.

This wet lab also has a heated/shaker water bath, compressed air, vacuum, DC power for plating, electronic tempurture measurements and a decent supply of chemicals.
